A little about me

My artistic journey began long ago when I was caught drawing on the walls of my home. I love discovering the special details that make a place what it is and use my memories to inform and evoke emotions in my art.

 

Originally from Oakland, Maryland in the USA, I now live in Canberra, Australia. It is a very long way in between these places and I arrived here after many detours and stops along the way. I have lived and worked in England, Italy, Nepal, Scotland, and Alaska, Texas, Maryland and Louisiana in the USA...

I use pen and ink, watercolour, acrylic and pencil to create whimsical narratives. I also work digitally to clearly communicate and provide clean, modern logos, medical illustrations and other corporate work.
